About Ybor Art Association
One of Tampa’s longest established arts communities, Ybor City has been home to artist studios, galleries, theater groups and filmmakers for years.
Brad Cooper, Walter Romeo and Sara Romeo founded the nonprofit Ybor Art Association (YAA) in 2008 to bring together these creative venues and help them build business, gain momentum and attract other creative ventures to Ybor.
The association has more than 20 members, including independently owned art galleries, fine arts-related businesses and their sponsors. The alliance, in partnership with the Ybor City Development Corp., hosts the Ybor ArtWalk the first Saturday of every month from noon to 6 p.m.
